Bad Taste in Boys
BAD TASTE IN BOYS by Carrie Harris. I read this book in one-freaking-day. One day. I skipped lunch and ignored my computer -- two things that never happen. It is a whirlwind of action from the beginning and it refuses to let the reader go until the end. I love books like that.
Here's the back cover copy:
Someone's been a very bad zombie.
Kate Grable is horrified to find out that the football coach has given the team steroids. Worse yet, the steroids are having an unexpected effect, turning hot gridiron hunks into mindless flesh-eating zombies. No one is safe--not her cute crush Aaron, not her dorky brother, Jonah . . . not even Kate! She's got to find an antidote--before her entire high school ends up eating each other. So Kate, her best girlfriend, Rocky, and Aaron stage a frantic battle to save their town . . . and stay hormonally human.
If you don't know Carrie Harris, well then remedy that immediately right HERE. She is one of the funniest, wittiest and most genuine writers in blogland. I've laughed out loud at blog post after blog post. BAD TASTE IN BOYS is filled with snark and action and zombie "ewww" moments. F U N read. If this book doesn't get picked up to be a movie then I have no faith in Hollywood. It screams MOVIE - probably because of Carrie's ability to "write her story alive" for the reader.
Great book!
